DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

September 2024

Dear Lions,

As we move through the second half of September it is important to reflect upon where you have been and where you are going as students. In my last announcement I asked you to attend to your studies, get involved in extracurricular activities, and take advantage of all that Lackawanna Trail has to offer.  Have you done this?  If so, that is great!  If not, it isn’t too late. Regardless of if you are a student in the primary grades of the elementary, or an upperclassmen at the high school, committing to goals helps you create a vision for where you want to be and what you desire to achieve.  Have conversations with your parents, teachers, and counselors so that you have input from those you trust and those with life experiences.  Before you know it, we will approach the end of the first marking period.  At that point, when you ask yourself if you have set and met your goals, I hope your answer is yes!

Sincerely,

Matthew Rakauskas
Superintendent
Lackawanna Trail
