Lackawanna Trail School District Committees

Each of the committees listed meets at regularly scheduled published times throughout the calendar year.  The overarching objective of our committees is to make recommendations to the Board of Directors after discussing the topics on each agenda. Many committees share overlapping agendas. Each committee is made up of a diverse team of stakeholders representing the administration, faculty, board of directors, parents, community and business leaders, higher education, and law enforcement.

Committee meetings are usually public and  include an opportunity for public comment; however, some may be classified as private and conducted as an executive session when warranted.  Public committee meetings are advertised in advance on our district website and in the local newspaper publications.  Agendas are published prior to each committee meeting, and minutes are published within a few days after each committee meeting.  The chairperson of each committee, or their designee will review the minutes from each meeting during the public portion of a Work Session or Regular Board Meeting.
